Well, this blog is kind of in a state of abadonment until my financial situation looks up as I stated before. And since I don’t go out much (job applications online), I don’t really have much to show.
But, I do have news.
Torrid is apparently branching out. (In spite of having yet to receive my yearly torrid card for my birthday) I am pleased to share that I’ve gotten e-mails about two new locations in my state (GA). One of them is Cumberland Mall (near Cobb Galleria Centre) and the other is Peachtree Mall (Columbus).
I think this is great news because I did attempt once to go to a “local” Torrid. It was supposed to be Northlake (which I don’t even see on the site anymore), but I ended up at North Point. It took practically forever to get there by train/bus and since I was with other people, it meant we walked around a little and I only got to pass by. (Everyone was hungry, so it was food court first since the the trip ate into so much time. (U_U)
But yeah…rambling post. New Torrid stores.

Also, they’re looking for managers for anyone who has sales manager experience. I’ve done retail, but never managerial. (U-U)
I figure this is a day job that I would be happy to have. A building full of books and people have to be quiet.
I also find myself much more willing to get a masters in library science than to go for my masters or Ph.D in literature because I don’t know yet if I really want to teach. It’s what I tell my family when we talk about the day job while I wait on art/fashion to be profitable, but I really don’t see myself teaching. I think I get flustered too easily regardless of how well thought out people think my ideas are.
I say this as I’m looking up a grad school program for creative writing. Sometimes I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing with myself outside of drawing.
